Chapter 9: Mechanical Properties of Fluids

Fluids form the circulating lifeblood of engineering systems, meteorological patterns, and biological organisms. Unlike solids which resist shear stress with static deformation, fluids continuously flow under shear. This master revision hub covers the entirety of Fluid Statics (pressure variation, Pascal's principle, Archimedes' law), Fluid Dynamics (continuity equation, Bernoulli's theorem, Torricelli's efflux law), and Interfacial & Transport Phenomena (viscosity, Stokes' drag, terminal velocity, and surface tension capillarity).
